Beginning her theatre career as the playwright, director, and star of her fourth grade play, Rachel Reiner has gone on to produce numerous off and off-off-Broadway productions and readings in the last twenty-five years.

Rachel produced the off-Broadway world premiere of Victor L. Cahn's romantic comedy, Embraceable Me, and his farce noir, Getting the Business, as well as Villainous Company at the Clurman Theatre; Cahn's  A Dish For the Gods and Romantic Trapezoid at the Lion Theatre; his political drama, Dally With the Devil, at the Beckett Theatre; and his suspense thriller, Fit to Kill, at the Clurman Theatre.

Rachel produced the off-Broadway world premiere of Crazy for the Dog by Christopher Boal in an 11 week run at the Bouwerie Lane Theatre. She also served as Executive Producer and General Manager of Snow Orchid by Joe Pintauro at Theatre Row, The Diorama by Jennifer Brown Stone and David S. Stone at Theatre Row, and Zimmerman by Frank Barth at the Sanford Meisner Theater.

As Director of Audience Engagement at The Broadway League, Rachel manages all education and engagement related programming, including Broadway Bridges, a program for which the goal is for every New York City public high school student to see a Broadway production before graduation. For the League, Rachel additionally serves as the Executive Director of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards and produces the annual Jimmy Awards ceremony at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre.

Rachel is also the Managing Director of Resonance Ensemble, a theatre company dedicated to producing classic plays and new work inspired by the timelessness and universalism of the classics. Resonance Ensemble has produced world premiere plays by Ginger Lazarus, Richard Manley, Steven Fechter, Charles L. Mee, Arthur Giron, Larry Loebell, Victor L. Cahn and Christopher Boal in recent years.

Rachel graduated summa cum laude from the Theatre Department at Brandeis University, where she produced 11 productions. She has served as the Co-President of the NYC Chapter of the Brandeis University Alumni Association as well as the chair of the Performing Arts Network.

Rachel served as co-President of the League of Professional Theatre Women after having served as co-Secretary and chair of the Networking Committee. Rachel subsequently received the LPTW's Lucille Lortel Award.

Rachel is an Adjunct Professor at Marymount Manhattan College and lives in New York City with her husband and son.
